polka dot dress

-My cousin gave me this polka dot dress because it didnt fit her. At first i was going to give it to my sister because i thought it was a little girly for me. After i played around with it i decided it was a keeper.
-I could only find one black sock so im trying to hide a foot in all of the pics.
-Im really into graphic print tees recently, preferably of some kind of animal.
-This weekend was spent tubing and wakeboarding with cousins. It was a blast. Im going to wake up very sore.
- I am going to visit stephen and friends in my old town for a week. Maybe ill get off this white wall and take some cool pics. Be back later

-Ive gotten lazy this summer in my outfits. I don't post many because most of them are easy casual ensembles that really lack any effort on my part.

-Usually I'm wearing something like this minus the heels. I can only manage to wear heels at night. Boy jeans, black belt and some kind of plain tee. Not inspiring or creative i know.

-Some of you have been asking where these heels are from. Gojanes the site. Knockoff central if your into that. I know it annoys some people but sites like this make me squeal with delight. Dont waste your time looking at the clothes. The shoes are where its at

Blue Moon

-I went thrifting today. Found a bunch of hilariously cool pieces including these denim shorts. I'm completely drawn to there uglyness. I plan on wearing them both cuffed and uncuffed, shirt tucked in and out. I also got a bunch of boy jeans.

-My new accessory is my little sisters bow headband which ive been wearing everywhere. You cant see it very clearly in the second pic though.

-Since im so lousy at finding time to blog I've scheduled a few posts with about 2 days between each.

Vrroom Vroom

No this is not fashion related.
I thought the 4 wheeling trails were pretty so we stopped to snap some pics
(Im putting these up among all the other lonely white wall pics just to liven my blog up a bit)
-I had a busy birthday weekend with stephen. No i did not spend it shopping or eating at a fancy restaurant as some of you kindly suggested i should. It was spend getting dirty 4 wheeling, fishing and doing other outdoorsy activities. Thats the fun part of living way up here in the middle of a forest.
-I did not open up my present yet. I am not that eager to open up what i already know is going to be a gun courtesy of my dad (I got my hunting license this year). Yay, just what every 17 year old girl wants right?!

Oscar de la renta

I found this great Oscar de la Renta blouse at the salvation army! I love it alot.

Ok so the skirts short, i know. This was the first skirt i made and i hemmed it too short. I Then made an identical one that actually was a decent length but i cannot find it so i had to photograph in this one

I didnt wear this outfit out becuase i had no where to go. I plan on wearing it to dinner with stephen this weekend but with a proper skirt.

Ive stopped labeling my outfits because its always all thrifted besides shoes.

-I went thrift crazy at the salvation army today. I wish i would have brought a camera with me because i couldn't buy everything and i had to let go of some great pieces.
-The great thing about living in a small town populated by fashion ignorant people, is that the thrift stores are all mine. I don't have to worry about all the good stuff being taken.

After that to Walmart where i raided the 5 dollar movies. I got these stranger boys to buy them for me because im not 17 and they are R movies. Disgusting i know but it got me the movies so hey.

When i got home there was a package waiting for me with 3 new pairs of shoes!

Overall it was a great day

Bright red lipstick

Its what i bought today. I wanted to see how it looked. I like it. I felt cool wearing it :)


Its an old machine. I guess it belonged to my great grandmother and now its mine!

Ive been busy. Tennis matches, relatives, sewing projects and work. For my upcoming birthday my grandma gave me a sewing machine. Ive always wanted to learn how to sew. So in her stay she helped me with a bunch of projects, mostly all skirts and a few hem jobs on long dresses from goodwill. I'm pretty excited about it all

I wish i could participate in the American Apparel sale going on. Its pretty good check it out. However all of my money is going towards gas for a stephen visit (bf that lives 6 hours away).
